This effect can only be realized by deviating from the standard method. The square is missing the numbers 12 and 16, and has the numbers 10 and 14 doubled. The number 33 is a sacred number for the Freemasons. The designer Antoni Gaudí was a member of Freemasonry for a while between the ages of 20 and 30.
